Position description:

You are familiar with business processes and tools in procurement, quality control, and certification for market release. Ensuring product quality is your strength, while communication with suppliers, customers, and agents is your passion.

Join our team as a Quality Control Associate and take part in various activities such as ensuring certifications and essential documentation, creating and verifying product labels, sampling, conducting and monitoring product testing, and reporting on the results.

Your job will include:

  • Ensuring certifications and essential documentation for the safe market placement of products
  • Creating and verifying product labels
  • Checking the authenticity of certificates
  • Communicating with suppliers, customers, and agents
  • Sampling, conducting, and monitoring product testing, and reporting on results
  • Regional legislative compliance
  • Monitoring legal regulations, informing relevant stakeholders, and adjusting internal processes accordingly
  • Attending training sessions as needed
  • Participating in the implementation of ISO standards within the organization
  • Responding to inquiries from regulatory authorities in a timely manner
  • Keeping records of inspection reports and collecting/sending necessary documentation to the inspection authorities
  • Proposing product improvements and contributing to product development
  • Completing ECO product forms and submitting FZOU applications
  • Quality control of delivered items
  • Contributing to product packaging design, with a special focus on warnings regarding usage, assembly, and maintenance
  • Translating and reviewing user manuals, warranty documents, and other relevant accompanying documentation
  • Checking tariff codes
  • Participating in contract negotiations and later ensuring contract clauses related to quality control are implemented and adhered to
  • Organizing post-sales activities
  • Monitoring statistical parameters (complaint reports, approvals, inspection records, etc.)
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by superiors

Type of job:
  • Permanent employment contract for an indefinite period, with a 6-month probation period.

About the employee

Skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in a technological or natural sciences field
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the same or similar roles
  • Advantage: knowledge of business processes and tools in procurement, quality control, and certification procedures
  • Proficiency in computer skills, especially MS Office. Advantage – completed additional training and courses for professional development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Croatian
  • Advanced English proficiency (business English)
  • Strong task prioritization skills

Minimum educational qualification:
